Congratulations to the USA!

Whatever side of the political fence you sit upon, we all have to be proud of our current President winning the Nobel Peace Prize.... It brings back into focus the fact the America is a leader, and we will continue to try and do the best thing for the good of all people.

What season is it??

It's difficult to realize that it's October and all our wonderful holidays are almost upon us, when the temperature is still in the '90s and the humidity is as well. Going out in the morning is like getting smacked in the face with a wet towel. Apologies to our readers up north ....

Lots going on in central Florida ... last weekend was the Hope & Help Headdress Ball ... fabulously entertaining ... thank you Sam Ewing (again!). I can't decide if the highlight of the evening was Dr. Draw, the tank full of mermaids, or the Harriett Lake Dancers... but a great time was had by all.

Then Luma on Park had another wine tasting .... picnic wines .... (picnic wines???)
worth the price of admission for the nibbles accompanying the wines.

This weekend the Philharmonic has a salute to Benny Goodman and Winter Park hosts the Autumn Art Festival... Anyone who is bored just isn't paying attention.

With all the social goings on remember, if you need to grab a gift for your hostess, we are stocked with fabulous scented candles; Michael Aram entertaining pieces; Agraria diffusers; Santa Maria Novella soaps; Le Jacquard Francais tea towels, etc.

And, start thinking about holiday cards.... yes, it's time!
