It's as hot and humid here as it is at home .... but the food, oohhh the food. Have managed to have cold lobster salad every day so far ... last night's dinner at Park Avenue Summer was lovely.... halibut with poached egg on top, bitter chocolate sorbet for dessert.... husband had a summer picnic dinner: fried clams (anyone remember Howard Johnsons?), barbeque ribs and cole slaw! The city is so nice during the summer .... no one here but us tourists... of course that also means no interesting sightings. Off to work, early this Sunday morning, to try and find some new, attractive, reasonable gifts for everyone....
